Operationalizing Logic Models Using the RE-AIM Framework in Rural Settings: A Two Talk Series

June 10, 2021 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm UTC-6

Heather Schacht Reisinger, PhD, Director of the VA Office of Rural Health Center for the Evaluation of Enterprise-Wide Initiatives and Associate Director of the Institute for Clinical and Translational Science at the University of Iowa, will present “Using a RE-AIM Logic Model to Distill Evaluation Reports from Diverse Rural Health Projects” on Thursday, June 10th from noon to 1pm. Use THIS LINK to register for the June 10th talk, hosted by the Great Plains IDeA-CTR Network Community Engagement and Outreach Core, the National RE-AIM Workgroup, and the Iowa ICTS Engagement, Integration, and Implementation Core.

The Implementation Research Logic Model is a relatively new approach to provide a graphical depiction of a dissemination and implementation research trial. These sessions will focus on how you can use a logic model approach to map implementation strategies to dissemination and implementation outcomes. Participants will learn how to structure an IRLM, strategies to overcome challenges with communication of these approaches, and applying multi-leveled interventions to RE-AIM outcomes.

This is the second of two talks concerning the RE-AIM Framework with the 1st talk presented by Paul Estabrooks, PhD, on Thursday, May 27th at noon.
