AAN Research Program Funding Opportunities Deadline

In addition to the other great research grants already available, the American Academy of Neurology wants to bring to your attention four AAN Research Program funding opportunities that are now accepting applications.

  • Career Development Award: This three-year award supports junior investigators interested in an academic career in neurology. The award provides support of $150,000 per year for three years for a total of $450,000.
  • Practice Research Training Scholarship: This award aims to support practice-based research and consists of a commitment of $65,000 per year for two years, plus a $10,000 per year stipend to support education and research-related costs for a total of $150,000.
  • Neuroscience Research Training Scholarship: The award aims to recognize the importance of and encourage young investigators in laboratory or preclinical research. Each award will consist of a commitment of $65,000 per year for two years, plus a $10,000 per year stipend to support education and research-related costs for a total of $150,000.
  • Clinical Research Training Scholarship in ALS and Related Diseases: This award aims to support young investigators engaged in clinical research focused on ALS, ALS-FTD, PLS, PMA, and HSP. The award will consist of a commitment of $65,000 per year for two years, plus a $10,000 per year stipend to support education and research-related costs for a total of $150,000.
