ACTS Translational Science Webinar

Join the Association for Clinical and Translational Science (ACTS) on Thursday, September 17^th for a live webinar: “Teaching Translational Science: Examples from the Field of Dissemination and Implementation” from noon to 1pm (CST). In this one-hour webinar, Rachel C. Shelton, ScD, MPH, and Aaron L. Leppin, MD, MS, will reflect on their experiences teaching dissemination and implementation science to diverse groups. Specifically, Dr. Shelton will talk about lessons learned in developing, teaching, and refining a course in implementation science across multiple settings, including a school of public health and CTSA hub. Dr. Leppin will additionally talk about issues to consider when teaching and training busy clinicians and how to use “learning by teaching” approaches to build institutional capacity. Both will provide real-world examples and resources. ACTS institutional and individual members can attend this live webinar for free. There is a $25 cost for non-members.
