Integrative Health and Wellness Summer Webinar Series

June 8, 2021 @ 12:00 pm - 12:30 pm UTC-6

Creighton University is hosting a webinar series in June to discuss the importance of social connections during and beyond COVID-19. Social connections are important for our overall health and well-being. The COVID-19 global pandemic has interrupted this component of well-being through physical distancing, lockdowns, and isolation. On Tuesday, June 8th at noon, Dr. Tom Lenz , Director and Professor of Creighton University’s Master of Science in Integrative Health and Wellness program, will present “Social Connectedness as a Determinant of Health.” Most people agree that feeling connected with others is an important part of life. But, many people may not know that it is an important determinant for our health and well-being. In fact, it may be THE most important factor that leads to good health, high levels of well-being, and happiness. This webinar will introduce you to the science that demonstrates how being connected to others and to the world around us is a critical determinant to our health and well-being. It will also discuss how the concepts of connectedness should be a necessary strategy in a health and wellness coaching program. Learn more and register HERE.
