Mind Brain Health Seminar Series

Howard Fox, MD, PhD, the Senior Associate Dean of Research and Development at the College of Medicine Professor, Professor in the Department of Neurological Sciences, and Director in the Center for Integrative & Translational Neuroscience at UNMC, will present “Single Cell Analysis of Myeloid Cells in the Brain in Health and Disease” on Wednesday, January 13^th at noon. The Mind and Brain Health Seminar Series is a platform to foster research collaboration across the neurosciences. This seminar will focus on understanding new methods of single-cell analysis, review bioinformatic analyses of single-cell studies, describing insights into neurodegenerative disease through single-cell studies of microglia, and presenting recent single-cell studies on microglia from SIV-infected nonhuman primates.
