Redefining Alzheimer’s disease clinically: Are we there yet?

Daniel Murman, MD, MS, FAAN, a Professor in the Department of Neurological Sciences and Director of the Memory Disorders and Behavioral Neurology Program at the University of Nebraska Medical Center will presentRedefining Alzheimer’s disease clinically:  Are we there yet?” on June 13th from 11:50am to 12:50pm in the Michael Sorrell Center (room 1005). Dr. Murman will describe the history of clinical criteria for the diagnosis Alzheimer’s disease (AD), explain what biomarkers are available to support a clinical diagnosis of AD, list some of the features of the new research criteria for diagnosing AD, including the ATN system, and discuss the advantages and limitations of using biomarkers in the clinical diagnosis of AD.
