Community-Engaged Research
The Community-Engaged Research Interest Group works to ensure research is relevant and impactful to the community. The group brings researchers, clinicians, community partners and network members together to enhance the quality of community-engaged research, generate new ideas, increase funding opportunities, improve the potential community impact and move community-engaged science forward.
Biomedical Informatics, Bioinformatics, and Cyberinfrastructure Enhancement
This core links informatics-based services and consultations to support research needs. In conjunction with the Research, Education, Administration and Development of Health Informatics Core, it provides access to electronic health record data for researchers from our clinical partners, Nebraska Medicine and Children’s Nebraska, and access to larger network data such as N3C, All of Us, PCORnet and the Greater Plains Collaborative.
Biostatistics, Epidemiology, and Research Design
This core provides investigators with expertise in biostatistics, epidemiology and research design. It provides consulting services and collaborative support for projects or grant applications, methodology development, data resources, and other various opportunities for education, as well as training ranging from a webinar series to in-person events and workshops.
Funding Opportunities
The Great Plains IDeA-CTR network offers funding opportunities to nurture, develop and guide clinical and translational research investigators across our region.
Professional Development
We’re committed to developing successful research investigators and fostering new and diverse research teams to transform and elevate how we understand the field of clinical and translational science.
