Pilot Project Funding

This award will provide $50,000-$100,000 in direct costs for one year for research project development. The goal of this funding mechanism is to increase the number of scientists engaged in clinical and translational research dedicated to studying health conditions affecting our population. Pilot projects are one year feasibility studies designed to allow investigators to test ideas suitable for development into independent applications, such as NIH career development (K-series) or small/developmental research project grant (RPG) awards.
