2020 Symposium on Substance Use Research (Abstracts Deadline)

The 2020 Symposium on Substance Use Research will be hosted virtually, courtesy of Rural Drug Addiction Research (RDAR) COBRE and the COBRE on Opioids and Overdose. This symposium provides an opportunity for those working in the areas of substance use to come together and share their original research. Abstracts are being accepted for the digitized short research presentations and the poster session. Please note that you DO NOT have to be formally associated with any National Institutes of Health (NIH) Center for Biomedical Excellence (COBRE) to submit an abstract. Abstracts are due by Friday, September 18^th. After submission, all abstracts will be reviewed by the participating COBRE leadership teams. If necessary, independent reviewers with subject-matter expertise may also review submissions. Authors whose abstracts are selected will be notified via email by Wednesday, September 23^rd. The short research presentations are scheduled for November 10^th, and November 12^th. The poster session is scheduled for November 11^th.
