2021 DaCCoTA Annual Symposium – Call for Abstracts for Poster Presentations Deadline

The goal of the Dakota Cancer Collaborative on Translational Activity (DaCCoTA) program is to stimulate growth of expertise and engagement in cancer-related clinical and translational research (CTR) in the Dakota region encompassed by the states of North and South Dakota.  Posters are expected to address cancer-related clinical and translational research. Posters can consider the multilevel manifestations of cancer (e.g., neurological, psychiatric), demographic risks, and/or social impact. Posters that focus on T2-T4 translational research will be given priority, although T1 studies will also be considered.

 

Abstract Guidelines

1. Abstracts are limited to 250 words excluding the title and authors’ information

2. Abstracts should be submitted electronically as a word file using Times New Roman font and the following sizes:

a. Title = font size 14

b. Body = font size 12

3. Abstract should contain the following:

a. Title

b. Author(s) & affiliation(s)

c. Purpose

d. Method

e. Results

f. Conclusion

 

Deadline:

Abstracts must be submitted as an email attachment to daccota@und.edu no later than 5:00pm Central Time on April 1, 2021.

Please include the following information in the body of your email:

  • Poster title
  • Names of other contributing authors (if applicable)
  • Contact details

Poster Presentation: Abstracts for accepted posters will be included in the program, and posters will be displayed virtually throughout the symposium. We will ask each presenter to record a brief (5 minutes or less) summary of their poster, and it is expected that at least one of the authors of each accepted poster be present during their assigned time to discuss their work with attendees.

Presenters will be required to submit the following items:

  • Abstract
  • Headshot/professional photo
  • Virtual poster

 

More details will be provided upon acceptance of proposal.
