Advance Your Technology with the DoD

Barry Datlof, MBA, Chief of Business Development and Commercialization in the Office of Medical Technology Transfer for U.S. Army Medical Research & Development Command (USAMRDC), will present a special talk on Thursday, June 24^th from noon to 1pm on how the Army works with universities and businesses to license mature medical technologies that have application in military settings. Their portfolio includes technologies in therapeutics, vaccines, diagnostics, devices, and IT. Mr. Datlof’s office serves as an advocate to help researchers with tips on how to navigate and identifying potential funding opportunities and write effective CRADAs (Cooperative Research and Development Agreements).
