CTR Seminar Series: Featuring Christopher D’Angelo, MD

Dr. D’Angelo is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Medicine, Division of Hematology/Oncology at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. He specializes in the care of patients with lymphoma, multiple myeloma, and cellular therapies used to treat these diseases. Dr. D’Angelo has a translational research focus in the gut microbiome in oncologic diseases. Dr. D’Angelo currently develops and leads clinical trials using prebiotic therapies to target the gut microbiome during cellular therapy for B-cell malignancies. As a clinical investigator, he leads clinical trials in cellular therapies including chimeric antigen receptor T-cell (CAR-T) infusion therapies and non-cellular therapies. He serves on the National Comprehensive Cancer Network panel for multiple myeloma as the representative for the Fred and Pamela Buffett Cancer Center.
