Department of Biostatistics Guest Presenter

Cheng Zheng, PhD, Assistant Professor of Biostatistics from the Zilber School of Publish Health at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee will present “Causal Inference in the Presence of Post-Randomization Variable” on Thursday, January 30th from 11am to noon in the Maurer Center for Public Health (room #3013) on UNMC campus. Dr. Zheng will discuss the general framework to make causal inference in the presence of intermediate variable without the “sequential ignorability” assumption, specific methods for different outcome data types in various applications, and “big data” to improve the efficiency of the proposed causal inference methods.
