Integrative Health and Wellness Summer Webinar Series

June 22, 2021 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm UTC-6

Creighton University is hosting a webinar series in June to discuss the importance of social connections during and beyond COVID-19. Social connections are important for our overall health and well-being. The COVID-19 global pandemic has interrupted this component of well-being through physical distancing, lockdowns, and isolation. On Tuesday, June 22nd at noon, Vicki Bautista, EdD, NBC-HWC, will present “Meaningful Connections – 3 Approaches to Explore Social Well-being with Clients.”

Research demonstrates those who have strong social well-being generally live longer, respond better to stress, and live a healthier lifestyle. Establishing and maintaining positive relationships with family, friends, and workplace colleagues can be challenging when balancing multiple professional and personal responsibilities. This session presents an overview of the different types of social support and highlights three approaches that health and wellness coaches or healthcare providers can use to guide the conversation about the importance of cultivating strong social well-being with their clients.
