The College of Public Health is offering a short, intensive course entitled “Epidemiology in Public
Health.” This course is designed to lay a strong foundation in basic epidemiological concepts and
application of epidemiology to public health and clinical practice. It is suitable for graduate students and
health professionals who wish to understand epidemiological concepts that relate to health care. A
variety of learning methods such as assignments, group and class discussions, and projects are
incorporated to facilitate student-centered and collaborative learning.
