Nebraska Healthy Kids Summit 2021

The Nebraska Healthy Kids Summit is virtual this year, held from noon to 4:30 pm on March 3^rd and 4^th. The summit is aimed at professionals who work with children and families such as public health professionals, clinicians, researchers, students, non-profits and educators. This is an opportunity to explore the impact of the global pandemic and systemic inequities on child nutrition and active living in Nebraska communities, while connecting stakeholders through research, practice and advocacy approaches promoting equitable child health. They invite investigators to submit research and projects that align with the program’s goals. Poster and abstracts for the Research Fair are due Feb. 10, 2021. Submissions will be reviewed, and selected projects will be available for viewing on a virtual platform. A small sampling will be presented throughout the summit.
