RDAR Center’s July Seminar

Dr. Yan Wang, Associate Professor of Epidemiology at the University of Florida, and Dr. Bilal Khan, Co-Director of the LNC Facility at the RDAR Center, will speak at the Rural Drug Addiction Research (RDAR) Center’s July Seminar on Thursday, July 8^th from 3:30 to 4:30pm via Zoom. “Talks in Innovative Data-Collection Methods” will feature Dr. Wang’s current NIAAA-funded project, which aims to validate a newly developed wrist-worn alcohol biosensor (BACtrack Skyn) in both laboratory and field settings and examine whether the biosensor works equivalently for persons living with or without HIV, as well as Dr. Khan’s new platform designed to collect self-reported, contextual data from large cohorts over long time-scales.
