The Department of Neurological Sciences Grand Rounds welcomes Navnika Gupta, MD, IV-year neurology resident at UNMC for a presentation on the Spectrum of EEG Findings in Acutely Encephalopathic and Critically-ill Patients. Dr. Gupta will discuss interictal continuum (IIC)and the electrographic spectrum of IIC as well as the imaging and laboratory markers of IIC. She will describe the proposed treatment algorithm for IIC, the recent advancements in this field, and review the effects of drugs and toxic substances on EEG.
