Using Social Media to Advance Your Career Workshop

Social media has quickly grown to be one of the fastest ways for clinicians, researchers, and other health care professionals to share their work, connect with colleagues, inform the public, and even advance their careers. But building up your social network doesn’t happen overnight. Join UNMC Faculty Development for an interactive workshop offering guidance in creating and curating a social media presence on various platforms including Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Doximity, and LinkedIn. On October 10^th from 8am to 10am in the Michael F. Sorrell Center (room #2014) on UNMC campus, you’ll receive expert tips and tricks to use social media for professional advancement, including dissemination of scholarly work and generating recognition as an expert in your field. There is no fee to attend. Registration is required for either in-person or live-stream attendance. You will need a smartphone, tablet, or laptop for this workshop. Learn more and get registered HERE.
