ACTS Webinar: Addressing Health Disparities in CTR Proposals

Hosted by the Association of Clinical and Translational Science (ACTS), “A Practical Approach on How to Address Health Disparities in Clinical and Translational Research Proposals” will be presented on Wednesday, November 18^th at noon (CT). This webinar will discuss the original conceptual model develop by the workshop leader named, “Pyramid of the Interrelation between basic concept of health disparity” and its relation with the Clinical and Translational Research Spectrum as an important process moving from basic to clinical to post clinical research and ultimately to use in public health impact. Through exercises provide theoretical and application tools for participants from many disciplinary backgrounds to conduct research and develop interventions to eliminate health disparities. The main objective of the workshop is to prepare and share a Health Disparity Research Methodology Checklist intended to help the junior researchers identify the core domains to rightfully address health disparities in their proposal.
