Big Ten Neuroscience Seminar Series

The Big Ten Neuroscience Seminar Series will highlight trainees and junior faculty from groups traditionally underrepresented in neuroscience. We will meet virtually once each month for presentations and discussion/networking. Each month will feature one Big Ten institution. Seminars are scheduled for the 3rd Friday of each month from noon to 1pm (CT). On Friday, January 22nd, The University of Iowa will host two speakers. Calvin Carter, PhD, Postdoctoral Scholar, will present “What are the biological effects of electromagnetic fields?” and Rainbo Hultman, PhD, Assistant Professor of Molecular Physiology & Biophysics, will present “Electrical connectomics: use of brain-wide electrical networks to understand complex brain states.” Click HERE to register for the seminar.
