Department of Neurological Sciences Grand Rounds

Arun Swaminathan, MD, Assistant Professor in the Department of Neurological Sciences at the University of Nebraska Medical Center will present “Weeding Out Seizures: Cannabidiol Use in Epilepsy” on Thursday, March 12^th from 11:50am to 12:50pm in the Michael Sorrell Center (room #1005) on UNMC’s campus. Dr. Swaminathan will discuss the existing literature on cannabidiol use in epilepsy, review the efficacy and side effects from cannabidiol use for epilepsy, and explain the ongoing research and future directions for cannabidiol use in epilepsy.
