Department of Neurology Grand Rounds

James B. Dyck, M.D., Professor of Neurology and Head of Peripheral Neuropathy Laboratory at Mayo Clinic, will present “Hereditary Transthyretin Amyloidosis (hATTR): The Evolution in the Treatment of Familial Amyloid Polyneuropathy” on May 16^th from 11:50am to 12:50pm at the Michael Sorrell Center (room 1005) at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. Dr. Dyck will discuss the clinical presentation and disease spectrum of hATTR, a historical paper on sensory loss, the neurological endpoints in trials, and the recent clinical trials (including gene silencing treatments) for hATTR.
