David Warren, PhD, Assistant Professor in the Department of Neurological Sciences at UNMC, will present “Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation: Potential for Treatment of Cognitive Deficits in Neurodegenerative Disorders” on Wednesday, April 28th from noon to 1pm via Zoom as part of the Mind Brain Health Seminar Series. Dr. Warren will review current literature on transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) as a treatment for cognitive deficits in neurodegenerative disorders, discuss recent and ongoing clinical trials using TMS as an intervention for cognitive deficits in neurodegenerative disorders, and explain how new insights from cognitive neuroscience could refine and improve current TSM methods in treatment of cognitive deficits in neurodegenerative disorders.
