Nebraska Center for the Prevention of Obesity Diseases Symposium

The Nebraska Center for the Prevention of Obesity Diseases (NPOD) will host its 5th Annual Fall Symposium on Wednesday, September 11 from 8am to 4:30pm at the Sheldon Museum of Art in Lincoln, NE.  The symposium is a free, day-long event for faculty, postdocs, students, staff, industry partners, and other interested parties offering an opportunity to explore relevant topics and to network with fellow researchers in academia and industry. Seating is limited so please register before September 6th. The speakers this year are internationally recognized experts on the topic of “Organisms and protocols in biomedical research”: Jason Kim, University of Massachusetts; Yunlong Liu, Indiana University; Denise Ramirez, UT Southwestern.
