ORWH U3 Program’s Women’s Health Lecture Series

The Office of Research on Women’s Health’s (ORWH) Understudied, Underrepresented, and Underreported (U3) administrative supplement program funds interdisciplinary research to address the influences of sex and gender on health at the intersection of social determinants. As part of the program, ORWH hosts events that are designed to stimulate interest in the complex issues affecting the health of women (e.g., influences of community attributes on health). On Wednesday, July 22nd at 1pm, “Improving Chronic Disease Outcomes Through Approaches that Address Social Determinants of Health” focus on improving chronic disease outcomes through approaches that address social determinants of health. This virtual event will feature presentations by two panelists, Drs. Marie Lynn Miranda and Leah Rubin, followed by a moderated Q&A session. Register for the event HERE.
