Pediatric Cancer Research Group Symposium

This symposium will be hosted on Tuesday, August 27^th on UNMC’s campus. The purpose of the symposium is to provide an update for the lay audience on projects that have been funded by the legislature, provide an update on the major Epidemiology of Pediatric Cancer in Nebraska project, and to share scientific presentations regarding the progress of funded projects to the research community. Brenda Weigel, MD, professor and Lehman Family Chair in Pediatrics at the Masonic Cancer Center at the University of Minnesota, a recognized leader in the field of child cancer research, will be the keynote speaker with her talk “Pediatric Drug Development: The Changing Landscape.” CLICK HERE to view more information including the schedule of events and to register.
