Redox Biology Center’s 16th Annual Symposium

Age-associated Mechanisms of Neurodegenerative Disorders will be the focus of this upcoming symposium to be held in Lincoln, Nebraska on March 19-20^th, 2020. They have assembled an outstanding scientific program, with keynote and plenary talks given by world-leading scientists and discussion leaders. Distinguished speakers will gather to share ideas on mitochondria processes in neurological disorders, cysteine-based mechanisms of cellular decline, degenerative disease of the eye, and proteostatic stress in aging. The latest research on the underlying causes of age-associated declines in mitochondrial function, metabolism, and proteostasis will be discussed along with emerging therapies for age-related diseases. They are offering travel awards for trainees and early career researchers with applications due January 10, 2020.
