Science Café: Breaking Down Memory

Nadia Paré, PhD, Assistant Professor in the Department of Neurological Sciences at the University of Nebraska Medical Center, will present “Breaking Down Memory: understanding the process of learning and paths to forgetting,” a discussion of how the brain creates and stores memories and what happens when that system begins to breakdown This Science Café will take place on March 3 at 7pm at the Slowdown (729 N. 14th St.) in Omaha, NE. Science Cafés involve a face-to-face conversation with a scientist about current science topics. They are open to everyone 21 and older. Pizza will be provided for the first 50 attendees.
